As the title implies, the article challenges conventional mainframe thinking as illustrated in this excerpt:
In the final analysis, today’s mainframes are the fully modern workhorses of enterprise transactions, and can cost-effectively support both the rise in mobile traffic as well as the enterprise’s move to the cloud.
