What if you could leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to not only speed the creation of value-creating applications, but also to automatically handle app deployments and improve performance. That’s the promise of CodeNinja, a new low-code development platform built for start-ups and small-to-midsized enterprises.
Rather than using hard-coded relationships for its code generation, the company instead uses machine learning models to convert the declarative intentions represented in its interface into standards-based code. The promise of this approach is that the code-generation models will improve over time based on both the specific applications an organization is building, as well as the development patterns of all the company’s clients.
As an example, the company explained that it continuously (and automatically) monitors and tests for application performance of all client applications. If an application is performing poorly, the system will automatically rebuild the code-generation model, regenerate the subject code, and then automatically redeploy the application to improve performance. The company is in early stages of development, but it is a novel and potentially impactful use of AI in the low-code space.
