Delphix seeks to eliminate this data constraint without impact to production systems. An early entrant in the data virtualization space, Delphix offers solutions for capturing, filtering and preparing secure and compliant data blocks that allow multiple software dev/test and operations teams to work in parallel.
While the basic premise of data virtualization hasn’t changed for ten years, the sheer volume and velocity of data that must be ingested and interpreted to make a viable copy has grown exponentially, along with new, hybrid cloud development and delivery environments for software.
Delphix has several multi-petabyte, large user base installations under its belt.
Now on version 6.0, the company recently added support for Google Cloud Services, a developer SDK for plug-ins, and a marketplace front-end for useful data sources and deployment templates.
