We’ve all visited an Agile Scrum session or issue resolution war room, where features and issues are expressed by team members on a limited wall space with Post-It® notes or whiteboard markers. To pick up where you left off at the end of the day, you would have to monopolize the space with a “DO NOT ERASE” command, scrawled across the top.
The scale of a truly interactive team planning exercise was subject to the availability of a physical surface, with scope limited to one project at a time. Attempt to take pictures or transcribe the physical content, and some of the context always gets lost.
Fast forward to today’s highly distributed workforces, and remote-required work policies. Nureva’s Span Workspace solution provides an ever-expanding canvas for manipulating notes, media and documents in high-resolution screens or projection surfaces, whether in a physical or virtual room.
To start a session, a meeting facilitator can choose from several prebuilt workspace templates and process elements in Canvas, then invite any number of collaborators to join in participant or view-only mode with a simple link or QR code.
Business, software development and operational support teams retain the complete context of a solutioning process and all of its accompanying inputs and decisions, so it can be referenced or resumed, anytime and anywhere.
