Authenticiti: A supply chain RPA resolution meta-network on blockchain

Authenticiti BC Intellyx logoAn Intellyx BrainCandy Brief

Authenticiti is building a distributed ledger network platform to identify and resolve disputes and inconsistencies among supply chain trading partners using disparate information silos and documents.

Financially burdensome delays due to disconnects of state and settlement conditions are a problem about as old as commerce itself. Major manufacturers tried to resolve it by first installing ERP and SCM packages and manually integrating supplier information, then by trying to sign up partners on emerging SaaS marketplaces or B2B hubs, with varying degrees of success.

Rather than rip and replace existing systems of record and market hubs, the Authenticiti platform uses automated processes to ingest state data and documentation from these disparate information silos, overlaying them with a private permissioned blockchain which provides an immutable ‘source of truth’ for resolving invoice and tracking errors and disputes.

Manufacturers get a dashboard for monitoring exceptions and drilling down into data for issue resolution, and reviewing performance metrics such as order-to-cash, inventory on hand and WIP cycle times to track progress.

Their pragmatic focus on solving business collaboration issues and meeting service level objectives with blockchain (rather than trading crypto) seems to be finding traction. The four-year-old company has a few anchor customers in heavy industries such as mining, manufacturing, automotive and aerospace, with plans to further expand through technology and services partnerships.
