Dataloop offers a rapid machine learning data preparation platform that assigns a meaningful ontology of metadata to high volumes of images based on human feedback for a variety of AI-enabled use cases.
Rather than juicing up the processing power of the AI platform or the speed of a neural network, Dataloop focuses on efficiently annotating incoming video and image data and quickly correlating this labeling with simplified human feedback loops — observed reactions and judgments — to increase the accuracy of real-time visual interpretation.
This makes their technology a useful add-on SDK for increasing the refinement of machine learning training data for other visual-oriented AI platforms, as well as Dataloop’s own data processing and storage management platform.
Data scientists can call APIs or launch serverless workloads to conduct rapid real-time search of complex tree-like metadata structures related to streams of images, interpreting them in the nomenclature and context of retail, robotics, transportation, media or other industries.
