Solace: Event-driven integration with transactional integrity

With event-driven and real-time applications rapidly becoming the norm, Solace could perhaps rest on their laurels, having helped popularize a vibrant vendor ecosystem by advancing EDA practices and creating many of its initial high-volume business successes.

But according to a recent study they underwrote, only 13 percent of respondents say they have fully matured their use of EDA, which proves there is still a long way to go in not only evangelizing, but operationalizing this style of integration.

Since our last briefings with Solace in 2021 and 2019, the Ottawa-based company has elevated its own end-to-end event integration platform, as well as quietly powering the heavier transactional needs of customers of many other major API-driven development platforms (like Boomi, others) with their PubSub+ event broker. They have also contributed an open source discovery tool to the greater community.
