Chooch: AI vision to feed business models

We’ve seen a lot of excitement lately around ChatGPT, and image generative AIs like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. We’ve even enjoyed using DALL-E ourselves on occasion. But what about an AI that recognizes and interprets images for practical business uses, rather than visualized dreaming—sort of like a vision-GPT?

Chooch has been working on exactly that with a no-code platform that combines AI vision with data augmentation and a form of camera/sensor input simulation for training and testing business analytics and inference models across a spectrum of edge devices and user smartphones.

Image synthesis becomes especially important for training systems to respond to conditions and anomalies that are not easy to capture from live cameras—take for instance, disasters like a fast-moving wildfire in satellite imagery, or a train derailment on a camera in a certain location. Or, more mundane business scenarios like a stockout in the warehouse or examining and sorting recyclables.

Data-augmented video footage and training output can then be rolled into an integrated AI vision development platform for modeling comprehension and inference logic at the camera endpoint or application node.
