As the intelligent automation space advances from BPM to RPA and beyond hyperautomation, Robocorp is adapting to the needs of developers and integration partners who are trying to get their arms around massive fleets of brittle bots with a new ChatGPT-based dialogue assistant that lowers the bar of entry for development of AI automation-driven applications.
When we last visited with Robocorp in 2021, their low-code abstraction layer for modeling workflows sat atop their open-source Robot Framework automation framework. Now their newest Remark chatbot interface also gives Python developers of all skill levels a co-pilot for defining automation components from a curated and updated library of code and documentation.
The goal here is to solve the ‘blank screen’ problem of defining new automation from scratch with intuitive suggestions, but more so, to expose a finished bot in an easily consumable API form that is also easily explainable and editable as code for greater resiliency.
