Since our last visit with Automation Hero in 2022, they have built up an impressive “spa menu” of AI-based treatment services for massaging unstructured data and documents into composable elements of business application workflows.
At this point, most enterprises have likely undertaken several digital transformation initiatives, from agile releases, to mobility, to cloud, and now, hallucinating AI chatbots.
The resulting improvements in internal processes and customer service capabilities may return value, but unstructured data in the form of contracts, invoices, emails, local tracking spreadsheets and shipping statements always seem to weigh transformations down.
Assuming we’ll always have personal communications and paper at the edges of every digital process, the hero’s journey is propelled by the visual and cognitive processing and interpretation of intractable data assets at a scale beyond what humans could ever do manually.
An example of this approach is the firm’s latest forgery detection module, which can suss out behavioral or pixel-level indicators of digital manipulation and trickery that siphons away billions of dollars annually through insurance and financial fraud.
