PowerAPI started out as an API integration solution for the restaurant industry for building mobile and web apps.
They have since emerged from that highly competitive market to offer a general purpose low-code API integration solution for mobile and web apps, leveraging a unique “win win” approach, and are listed on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
PowerAPI sells their product through partners, using a “white label” model in which a partner sells the product under its own name, and reaps a portion of the benefits of doing so.
PowerAPI shares the data they collect with their white label partners, enabling some key value propositions.
For example, some of their partners are major consumer brands that offer the Power API platform for free or at low cost to their customers in exchange for collecting data that helps the brand improve sales.
Another example is a regional government looking to promote local business, who offers the Power API platform to local businesses so they can easily create digital apps in exchange for simplifying the collection of tax and other regulatory information.
PowerAPI’s low code platform integrates APIs for reviews, catalog, presence, booking, CRM, procurement, and other common functions, creates a website and manages posts, and provides analytics and management dashboards.
Their product is licensed, not consumption or usage based. It runs on Google Cloud and can be deployed on AWS and Azure.
