Simulated environments and synthetic data have already become a fixture of software development and test automation practices. However, the SOC team requires a much grittier level of realism in order to plan out responses and set policies for both known CVEs and novel attacks, including domain registries, user data, permissions, file systems, and even endpoints like ATM or point-of-sale devices.
The firm today announced the release of their new Stack Optimizer (or StackOp) solution for benchmarking and validating an organization’s security engineering practices in the context of their own toolkits as well as in comparison to best-in-class peer organizations. Resulting assessments can be tracked for continuous improvements in workflow efficiency, threat detection, and risk mitigation, as well as documenting the state of SecOps for compliance exercises.
