An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
NetBrain helps customers prevent network outages and incidents, helps them recover from incidents and outages, and guards against recurrence through visibility and automation.
They recently added AI powered remediation and continuous automatic network assessment.
When you install NetBrain, it runs a discovery protocol against your network and builds a “digital twin” model of the network that it compares against a set of “intents” that codify the desired state of the network.
Analyzing the model identifies potential risks and vulnerabilities, measures overall network health, and reports on the delta between its actual and intended state.
During the initial scan, NetBrain also synthesizes what it calls a set of “golden designs” it detects within the network and creates recommendations for formally adopting those designs. Continuous scans provide visibility into network improvements as well flagging as risks and vulnerabilities.
The AI co-pilot helps define the assessment “intents” and recommendations for adopting the “golden designs.”
The AI capability continuously learns from process documents and incident response records to improve the automated remediation capability. When NetBrain fixes an issue it incorporates the fix into the automation.
NetBrain includes features for methodically bmanaging network changes to avoid application impact, including runbooks, bandwidth checks, and analyzing the results of past similar changes.
