BurstIQ offers an AI data management platform that creates unique “Lifegraphs” for each datum and its respective metadata dimensions of organizational, role, and user-based responsibility atop an AI data store. Cryptographically sealed contracts on an integrated private blockchain ensure least privilege access to each tokenized graph, so AI agents and LLMs can safely conduct queries, run inference workloads and share results against auto-generated APIs.
The separation of concerns of each metadata reference, the data objects themselves, and how they are accessed and used offers an interesting way to build compliance and trust into AI-powered software. This is especially true in complex intra- and inter-organization environments where both people and machine agents are kicking off workloads that require data relevancy, as well as tight control of permissions on viewing or modifying the content.
This well-established startup is moving into the AI data management space leveraging lessons learned from their origins in healthcare and public data customer engagements, where the regulatory compliance requirements for handling sensitive PHI and PII data are extremely critical.
