Torq offers a full-service security operations platform that deploys AI agents alongside automation to ingest massive streams of event and alert data from other security, threat detection and monitoring tools, then either auto-remediate or collaboratively resolve issues with human SOC experts in the loop.
Since our previous coverage of Torq in 2024, the vendor has jumped into Agentic AI like many other vendors in the market, with a multi-agent architecture that can receive and route data, auto-triage Level 1 issues, and personify a conversational AI guru they call “Socrates” to work with human analysts on investigating and remediating more complex (usually Level 3) issues.
What’s unique here is how Torq added the AI features without losing their original concept of democratized hyperautomation. Their familiar dashboard, beyond providing expected security posture, health and MTTR measurements, allows both beginners and experts to curate and manage institutional knowledge and methods for resolving problems, with clearly explorable and manageable SOC policies, workflows and automated runbooks that can be tailored to specific threats and team (or AI agent) responses.
