Atolio: AI-powered enterprise content search that respects sovereignty

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief from KubeCon NA 2025

AtolioAtolio offers a portable AI-based enterprise search and knowledge curation solution that can run across permissioned cloud networks or entirely locally deployed within the customer’s own network fencing for IP and privacy protection reasons.

Most existing enterprises have complex enough enterprise content management environments. While you could use this solution to help modernize or unify enterprise content sources, not all companies will have this luxury.  With the proliferation of GenAI content generation tools and AI agents, the need for better internal enterprise search engines across collaboration tools and file systems will only increase over time, and the ability to metatag and appropriately define what is accessible or discoverable will only become more complicated.

As you would expect, there’s a natural language AI interface that allows users to prompt the data they have access to, in the context of the enterprise’s knowledge base and activities, so the results should improve in relevance over time.

“In a complex regulated enterprise environment, you might have several acquisitions, and therefore, multiple instances of similar tools across different divisions of the company—10 different versions of JIRA, 10 GitHubs, and multiple Slack accounts, so we make it easier to find the data you need across of all those sources,” said Mark Matta, chief client officer and co-founder, Atolio.
