DevSwarm: Multi-model cross-agent coding orchestration platform

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

DevSwarm puts software engineers at the helm of a cadre of AI coding agents that work in parallel iteration environments to interpret requirements and complete features which can be reviewed before merging into a common branch.

DevSwarm logoYou might wonder why this is so different than “vibecoding” an app with any major GenAI service, in which a user types some text into an LLM, and it thinks a while, and then starts spitting out code, which makes AI-assisted development seem more waterfall than agile.

DevSwarm instead calls their practice “hivecoding” because an experienced engineer can orchestrate multi-agent work consistent with the developer’s setup and environment variables without port conflicts, shifting between ongoing coding agent workstreams, comparing diffs and reviewing changes before committing, with the goal of producing production-ready software that is more likely to be aligned in less time.

You can use your own favorite code editors, bring in commercial code assistants like Claudecode or Cursor, or leverage some of the included open source coding agent models. Or, why not run your own private hackathon, and see which model works best for a given feature?

The platform offers a free developer edition that supports up to 10 parallel agents for non-commercial use. Customers seeking higher volume work or supported integrations to Jira or Github in secure dev team environments can upgrade to paid editions.
