Ephemeral cloud native workloads and autonomous agents need far more fine-grained access than standard human user authentication and AIM platforms can provide. That’s why P0 Security offers a privileged authorization control plane for defining, automating, and enforcing microsegmented access at runtime for people, machine identities, and AI agents.
Static IP, standard login-based credentials, API gateways, and network proxies fall down when you have millions of potential microservices and AI workloads launching and shutting down in dynamic namespaces at any given time. Their system acts as identity middleware between human users and their agent work, and the downstream services, applications, and systems of records they can access.
P0’s zero-trust approach enforces least privilege access policies for resources, dynamically, only at the exact time they are needed. So for instance, if a marketing team is using a Claude agent to build campaigns, it could query demographic groupings of users from the CRM, and even personalize recommendations to match the products they are associated with, without exposing any of the customers PII to the marketing agent or its owner.
Hot take from Black Hat: “In every customer that I’ve been speaking to, there’s a top-down directive from the CEO or the board: Use agents. Deploy AI. That’s it,” says Shashwat Sehgal, CEO and co-founder, P0 Security. “So this percolates down to the security team and they say ‘Oh my god, my developers are already deploying these 10 agents, or employees are already using thousands of agents, and we don’t know how to secure them.’ The biggest problem with securing autonomous agents is that we don’t know what they can get access to. You can write policy, but how do you enforce it and control their access?”
