Flip AI offers a generative AI layer that rationalizes telemetry sources and observability signals across a distributed application estate to predict and locate incident root causes.
Engineers (and non-engineering stakeholders) can use Flip AI’s LLM to look for a perceived performance failure, or predict a future failure. Trained on billions of errors, logs, traces, and data from APM tools and incident reports, the solution forms a hypothesis and promises ‘zero-shot’ root cause analysis with up to 80% confidence within a minute, according to the vendor.
Rather than replacing existing monitoring and observability tools, users can lean on this overlay model to make sense out of alert noise across multiple products, like an expert concierge who knows the extended network neighborhood and can make insightful recommendations about how to avoid or remediate disruptions.
The solution can be leveraged as a service or installed on-premises for regulated industries, though as we’d expect, the models perform best with robust data capacity and GPU availability.
