SafeBase: Security and Compliance Trust Center

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

SafeBase hosts Trust Center web pages for their customers that curate and publish security and compliance information.

SafeBase’s customers reference their Trust Center pages to provide basic information publicly and more detailed information privately during the due diligence phase of the sales process.

SafeBase customers assign login credentials to control access to detailed as well as confidential information shared within business relationships.

The SafeBase platform seeks to improve business relationships by promoting trust and transparency, serving as a single source for an organization’s security and compliance information.

The SafeBase platform provides templates to help customers upload information and uses AI to help them respond to security and compliance questionnaires such as those for CSA or SOC2.

SafeBase says that maintaining security and compliance information in one place improves efficiency, avoids errors, and reduces effort compared to a traditional one off, manual approach.

Trust Center pages address the problem of a fragmented security and compliance information review process.

It helps address the software supply chain security issue as well, not only by publishing vulnerability reports, but also because organizations can link to each other’s Trust Center pages.
