Infinidat offers a set of integrated software-based enterprise storage platforms using Infinidat’s InfuzeOS operating environments. Infinidat’s data protection and backup architecture is integrated to their cyber storage and security capabilities, including immutable snapshots, logical and remote airgapping, fenced forensic networks, recovery, and integration with SIEM and SOAR applications.
They also provide software-based primary storage, data protection and backup architecture that works atop their own hardware, while accepting incoming telemetry and alerts from many large enterprise application platforms and being used by service providers to provide data security, orchestration and fast recovery capabilities.
Most enterprises are concerned with the performance-to-cost ratio of hybrid storage, but they don’t prioritize data protection and backup until they go through their first major recovery crisis such as a ransomware attack. Infinidat takes rapid immutable snapshots of massive data volumes, flash drives, databases, and file systems, and can ‘unflood the zone’ to repair multi-petabyte environments to production state in minutes or seconds in some cases.
There’s also an automated cyber response stack for detecting data threats from incoming SIEM and monitoring tools, airgapping critical resources for safety, and providing post-response forensics to help the team understand the enterprise’s data protection and risk mitigation posture going forward.
