An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last spoke with LocalStack, they were delivering their local AWS sandbox for low cost cloud application testing.
Since then they have added support for Snowflake, allowing customers to run queries and pipelines locally before deploying them in the cloud.
They have also announced upcoming support for Azure and the Oracle cloud, and are extending the sandbox to locally test and validate AI agents before deploying them remotely to production.
Testing cloud based applications locally on PCs, laptops, or local servers before deploying the applications to production reduces cloud computing cost and improves developer experience, compared to the more time and resource consuming process of developing, testing, and validating them in the cloud before deploying them to production.
