Evos: Coordinating operators to carry supply chain processes and actions to outcomes

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

EvosEvos provides a strategic value chain analysis and collaborative process design platform that generates specialized multi-agent teams to augment the capabilities of human operators for streamlining business processes and automating supply chain execution steps.

Planners interact via chat or API integration with an overall process orchestration agent that works atop a data observability layer for the company’s supply chain software solutions and event feeds, which audits logs and activities such as orders, geo-location, and settlements in systems of execution, as well as contributing demand, supply, and spending trends.

There is an objective-oriented flavor to the output thanks to small, specialized language models that correlate this data with industry terminology and business-specific lingo in context of the tasks that lead to potential outcomes through the process agent.

Human supply chain experts are still involved in directing the agents, which are called “operators” – kind of like functional microservices that can take over autonomous automation for specific tasks, roles, and functions to roll up decisions into ROI approaches with defined scope and goals. For instance, a logistics broker that can send confirmation emails within seconds to hundreds of brokers as loads are assigned, re-dispatched and delivered, saving hours of touch time and response delays per order.

Intellyx hot take: They aren’t “replacing” people in the companies because most companies have a huge shortage of SMEs, and expecting those individuals to coordinate a box of self-learning AI agents isn’t going to cut it, since there will always be more context to learn. This new generation of agentic AI startups in physical industries understand that expertise and existing systems can’t just be replaced; so they use forward-deployed engineers and customer workshops to help teams understand how to build a viable business approach.

Intellyx cold take: You might look at this and say to yourself “Hey, I could ask Claude or ChatGPT these questions” and you would probably get back plausible looking recommendations. But real-world operators are still using bespoke on-prem SCM/ERP systems, they were never really online and training LLMs with their supply chain data and results. Since Evos prices on outcomes, rather than seats or tokens, that may reduce the risk and cost barriers to human-led agentic automation.
