An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
TurnKey Solutions has been in the test automation space since the mid-1990s, when a partnership with Mercury Interactive put it on the map. It continued the partnership after HP acquired Mercury, and now TurnKey also provides test automation for testing suites like HP Quality Center, Selenium, and CA AppTest, among others.
What makes TurnKey so disruptive, however, is its data-driven approach to automating the updating of test assets. TurnKey ‘automates the automation’ of testing, allowing dev, test, and DevOps teams to keep test assets in line with evolving code assets during the course of development.
One ingredient in TurnKey’s secret sauce: treating complex enterprise apps as business processes in order to provide end-to-end testing of such applications. This process-centric approach takes traditional integration testing to the next level, combining it with functional testing and automating the combination. The end result is greater speed and agility, essential for every successful DevOps effort.
