It’s no secret that enterprise organizations must modernize their technology stacks in order to adapt to customer expectations and successfully execute their digital transformation efforts. But it’s also no secret that this modernization is easier said than done. The modern enterprise technology stack is excruciatingly complex and is often an architecture built layer-upon-layer — with the base layers years or decades old. Moreover, the company believes that enterprise organizations find themselves between the proverbial rock and a hard place: needing to move immediately and rapidly, but lacking the resources and capabilities to do so.
In response, the company designed its low-code platform to specifically address the enterprise modernization process and then couples it with a set of professional services to help its clients rapidly redevelop critical applications and create the new applications they need to fulfill their digital transformation strategy — deploying them wherever they are needed.
Most importantly, the company built its platform using open source technologies and frameworks and has built functionality that allows its clients to port applications built on its platform directly to their native open source environments and then re-import them into its platform at a later time (something the company calls ‘round tripping’). The result is a highly flexible environment that enables enterprise organizations to take advantage of the company’s visual, rapid application development environment without fear of lock-in or limiting their deployment and runtime options.
