An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Intellyx last covered Cloudian in a Brain Candy post in October 2017. In the months since, this object storage vendor’s file storage offering, HyperFile, has become increasingly strategic.
This month, Cloudian announced it was acquiring Infinity Storage, the small Italian development vendor who partnered with Cloudian to bring HyperFile to market.
HyperFile is gaining traction in the media and entertainment industry in particular, as it facilitates the ability to both track and add metadata enrichment to video files, enabling media owners to find and repurpose their vast stores of video content.
