OrangeGrid: A No-Code Platform for the Mid-Market

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

After years of working with and within large enterprise organizations, the founders of OrangeGrid realized two important things. The first was that organizations were leaving far too many vital business processes unautomated because IT lacked the capacity to handle the long-tail of demand. Second, they realized that mid-market firms had all the same challenges as their enterprise counterparts — and the stakes were just as significant — but they had even fewer resources available to solve the problem.

To respond to these challenges, the company created what it calls a no-code technology framework. The framework comes with pre-built software objects and over a hundred connectors to other systems that enable non-technical staff, such as business analysts, to develop applications that automate workflows and connect them with vendors and other outside partners — all without coding.

The company’s subscription-based model includes access to the framework, as well as development hours that organizations can use to have the company develop applications for them, increasing the speed of development and deployment even further.
