Bonitasoft has built its low-code offering on its popular open source business process management (BPM) platform. This heritage gives the low-code tool BPMN support via a lightweight workflow creation interface.
Bonitasoft focuses on applications with both back-end and front-end components, leveraging a lightweight server runtime on the back-end to support both on-premises and IaaS cloud deployments.
On the front-end, Bonitasoft takes a code generation approach, allowing developers to use its UI designer to create HTML5 and modern JavaScript.
Bonitasoft also offers broad integration capabilities via pre-existing connectors, additional crowd-sourced connectors, and a wizard-based connector construction tool.
