Safe-T: Preventing data threats at the network perimeter with zero-trust security

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Safe-T logo - Intellyx brain candyGoing digital means bringing all aspects of the business closer to customers, whether exposing once internal systems via services and APIs, or delivering application functionality through browsers and devices. Unfortunately, this increased level of access also exposes a greater attack surface for all data moving through enterprise networks.

Safe-T has built a solution to protect data and applications by preventing any unauthorized access surface to them, through a “zero-trust” software-based security. Their service allows users to authenticate themselves through several leading app workflows — then get direct OS-level access to exactly the files and applications they are authorized to see.

“We authenticate the user before they are even allowed to access the app surface,” said Eitan Bremler of Safe-T. “Once I know who you are, I can tell you exactly what data and applications you can access. For a remote user over the web to file storage, it seems completely native. No need to launch a VPN client.”
