An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When I last wrote about M-Files in August 2017, it’s most important differentiator in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) market was its ability to leverage metadata to find and access content based upon the nature of the content rather than its location.
This metadata-based approach continues to serve M-Files well, as it also enables organizations to leave documents or other content artifacts in their existing locations, or migrate them when doing so meets a business need.
In addition, M-Files has now stepped up its game with AI, as it is able to train machine learning with both the metadata as well as the underlying content data themselves, thus supporting sophisticated content discovery that can leverage the relationships among the information in different documents.
