An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
B2B integration has always been an intractably difficult challenge. From the EDI approaches of the 20th century to the eMarketplaces of the dot-com era, many vendors have chipped away at this problem, only to leave a massive consulting effort to clean up the messes that software couldn’t handle on its own.
Cleo makes real progress with this challenge via several important innovations. As with most modern B2B integration solutions (including iPaaS), Cleo provides many pre-built connectors. Unlike much of the competition, however, Cleo also provides connectors and other middleware infrastructure for internal integration as well.
End-to-end integration isn’t enough, however. Cleo also offers pre-built core business processes like order to cash, hire to retire, and others, thus giving its customers a straightforward approach to optimizing their core process while solving both B2B and internal integration problems.
Nevertheless, there are always situations where customized or bespoke applications require the personal attention of integration professionals. To meet this need, Cleo offers a low-code studio for developers, who can use drag-and-drop simplicity for most integration tasks, but also allows for hand-coding when necessary.
In addition, Cleo stands alone from other low-code integration vendors by offering a separate no-code integration tool for business users, who are now able to tackle many basic integration tasks without the help of professional developers, thus increasing time-to-value as well as overall organizational agility.
