Cyxtera is a colocation provider that was at Black Hat touting AppGate SDP, its zero-trust network security platform.
AppGate SDP takes an identity-centric, attribute-driven approach to security, building a multi-dimensional profile of a user or device. The product is thus able to authorize users before granting access to micro-segmented networks.
AppGate SDP applies the principle of least privilege, blocking all traffic that it hasn’t explicitly placed on a white list.
With AppGate SDP, all connections are secure and encrypted between the user and resource, replacing the need for a VPN. It also eliminates lateral movements on the network and makes unauthorized resources are completely invisible to a user.
