An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
When we last covered Pivot3 at the 2018 VMworld conference, its key differentiator was its Intelligence Engine, which resolved resource contention issues while automating data and workload mobility.
At this year’s VMworld, however, its focus had shifted dramatically to near edge computing. In fact, more than half Pivot3’s business centers on video and other streaming media use cases at airports and other large facilities, as well as for smart city applications.
Today, the challenges of surveillance and other video applications are driving rapid growth in AI inference processing at the edge, and Pivot3 is riding this wave.
