Various sources have predicted a forthcoming “IoT doomsday”. In an article for Wired,
Intellyx President Jason Bloomberg cited a combination of vendor dominance, commercial interests, digital fatigue, and privacy and security risks as combining to potentially “doom” IoT in the future.
