There are many Digital Process Automation (DPA) platforms on the market today that apply low-code techniques to business process automation. Nintex certainly falls in this category. However, there are many ways that Nintex differentiates itself from the pack of DPA competitors.
It offers a rich process design application with ‘one click’ automate and ‘one click’ publish capabilities. It uses AI (both natural language processing and machine learning) to automatically generate forms from paper or pdf documents. The platform also offers built in document generation and eSignature capabilities.
Perhaps Nintex’s most interesting differentiator, however, is its novel take on Robotic Process Automation (RPA). While most RPA tools require intensive hand-coding and commensurate code maintenance, Nintex has integrated its RPA with its process automation platform.
As a result, the platform’s built-in process management also controls the behavior of robots, thus bringing them into the same low-code environment as the rest of Nintex’s capabilities.
