The Mobile Experience Imperative of Digital Transformation

Whitepaper Mobile Digital Transformation KobitonAn Intellyx Executive Primer for Kobiton, by Jason English

Digital Transformation is the journey, and everyone’s on board for this ride.

A digital transformation (DX) initiative aligns the strategy of an enterprise around the agile use of technology and data to meet customer demand.

DX has become such a broadly popular term in management circles that it can now cover everything from modernizing back-end systems of record and operations, to delivering bespoke cutting-edge applications at the mobile edge of business. [My own firm has already written 399 articles or pieces on it — and this one makes #400!]

Given that, is digital transformation another buzzword that will get replaced by the next one that comes along?  Not by a longshot, if you check in with the leaders of companies that are truly adapting to not only survive but lead themselves into new markets.

Digital Transformation initiatives are alive and well, but the real frontier for customer engagement has moved to the edges of our networked world where work, commerce, and life happens, resulting in a mobile-first, multi-experience battlefield.

According to the latest Kobiton State of Test Automation study, nearly 70% of respondents said mobile applications were either a critical or strategic channel for their business.

This paper will demonstrate how executives can overcome the hardest challenge of DX by focusing relentlessly on delivering a superior mobile application experience.
