An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief
While the enterprise technology stack has continued to evolve and grow in complexity, one thing hasn’t changed: the network is at its foundation. Central to any enterprise’s viability and competitiveness is its ability to connect its vast network of sites and assets, and its ability to connect all of those to the Internet. The challenge, of course, is that all network connectivity is local. The result has been that enterprises have had to struggle through a fragmented, manual, and laborious process to establish, change, and manage this critical connectivity.
Unitas Global has introduced a new platform it dubs the Nexus™ Marketplace to solve this problem. Sitting atop Unitas Reach, its global software-defined network, the Nexus platform enables organizations to automate the design, pricing, and ordering of IP and Ethernet services based on their unique network requirements. The service is available to enable connections through the company’s over 30 million edge locations in 85 countries.
Central to all of Unitas’ offerings is its managed service approach. The company becomes a service layer between MSPs and enterprises on one end and the carriers and cloud providers they need for connectivity on the other. This managed service approach enables them to provide a cohesive, unified view and management mechanism of what would otherwise be a disjointed and opaque layer of network connectivity.
