Armo: Kubernetes Security that Combines Posture Management and Runtime Protection

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

We last covered Armo in December 2019, when the company’s name was Cyber Armor.

More than its name has changed in the interim. Today, Armo offers a comprehensive Kubernetes security solution that includes both posture management and runtime protection.

Armo’s posture management focuses on ensuring operators have properly configured and locked down their Kubernetes deployments, thus reducing vulnerabilities and the associated attack surface.

Armo’s runtime protection assigns unique identifiers to various types of endpoints including microservices as well as runtime processes.

Armo is thus able to deliver cloud-native zero trust that abstracts the identity of arbitrary endpoints while encrypting data in motion.

Armo also delivers feedback loops ensuring posture management provides runtime cybersecurity insights, while its runtime protection also feeds back appropriate posture updates.
