PacketFabric offers a global optical network that provides dynamic, scalable enterprise connectivity to cloud resources or other endpoints. The management and control planes for this ‘connectivity cloud’ are API-driven and abstracted, supporting automated provisioning and configuration.
Under the covers, however, PacketFabric offers dedicated L2 service, including custom routes among enterprises or between enterprises and cloud and SaaS providers.
Because PacketFabric offers the physical network (via leased dark fiber) as well as cloud-native, configuration-based management, it provides customers carrier-grade performance without the overhead of overlay- based cloud solutions that leverage third-party connectivity.
Furthermore, PacketFabric has sufficient economies of scale to maintain adequate capacity headroom to give customers the rapid scale-up, scale-down, and dynamic capabilities cloud-native and edge computing use cases require at competitive prices.
