An Intellyx Brain Candy Update
Since we last wrote for Open Systems in January 2021, the company brought on a new CEO, Geoff Haydon. Haydon has been fine tuning the Open Systems messaging, focusing on three core solution areas: Zero Trust, Ransomware protection, and cybersecurity for Microsoft Azure.
Its offerings include a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) offering that leverages its older Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) product, as well as Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR), which combines MDR as well as Network Detection and Response and Endpoint Detection and Response.
These offerings combine cybersecurity technology along with Open Systems’ traditional managed services capabilities. It is the managed services, in fact, that best differentiate Open Systems in the market.
The vendor staffs a security operations center (SOC) full of cybersecurity experts, while also assigning individual experts to key accounts as necessary.
