There’s no question that the ability to leverage data effectively has become one of the chief competitive enablers for enterprise organizations. And when organizations leverage that data to transform and enrich the customer experience, it can be powerfully disruptive. Unfortunately for most mid-market enterprises, however, this sort of data-enabled competitiveness and disruptive power is out of reach — undermined by siloed and dirty data, the inability to seamlessly integrate data sources, and a lack of time and resources to put it all together.

Aunalytics believes that it has a way to help mid-market firms overcome these gaps and leverage data in a way that helps them compete effectively with their larger counterparts. Offering what might be called insights-as-a-service, the company combines its data management platform with deep industry-specific knowledge and a managed services approach to put insights in the hands of the business users that can put them to use via its natural language processing (NLP)-based interface.

While the company’s data platform functions similarly to those leveraged by large enterprises, its use of artificial intelligence (AI) and the creation of “golden records” is what drives its ability to serve the needs of mid-market organizations. This approach enables it to deliver pragmatic, yet powerful data-based enablers such as being able to identify internal and external customer relationships, predicting the propensity of a customer to act on an offer, and identifying members of the same household to avoid annoying duplicate contacts.
