CloudNatix offers a SaaS-based control center for managing and optimizing the utilization of Kubernetes clusters and traditional VM deployments across multiple pooled cloud and on-premises infrastructure resources.
Their ‘Planet Scale Cluster Manager’ solution attaches namespaces to all of an enterprise’s existing cloud IaaS accounts and leverages on-prem access controls. Automated container deployments and accompanying workloads can then be prioritized to flow between all of these hybrid IT resources based on the targeted cost, scalability and resiliency goals of the operating enterprise.
By giving IT Ops, DevOps and FinOps leaders their own concerned lenses into a shared enterprise-wide hybrid topology view, perhaps these different functions can reach consensus on global management policies that support global optima for better utilization across the extended infrastructure estate.
