Replicated: Adding New Features to its ISV-Focused Kubernetes Installation Platform

An Intellyx Brain Candy Update

Since we last covered Replicated in October 2020, the company has rolled out several new features for its Kubernetes software installation platform.

Replicated is adding community licensing options, including a freemium option that ISVs can use to bundle Replicated with their products. ISVs can turn features on and off depending upon their customer requirements.

The company is also adding pre-flight checks that will warn ISVs if there is a configuration issue before deployment, avoiding problems that would otherwise crop up after launch.

Third, Replicated is standardizing its semantic versioning scheme, enabling ISVs to establish policies specific to different versioning levels.
