Real-time analytics at scale has long been a difficult challenge. The typical approach leverages denormalization of data – achieving performance at the expense of flexibility and real-time visibility into source data.
StarRocks avoids such denormalization challenges with its cloud native, real-time analytics engine. This engine leverages cost-based optimization techniques to optimize joins along with a vectorized query engine that prepares data for optimized queries in real-time.
The result are real-time analytics queries with high concurrency without the need for ETL. StarRocks has a standard SQL query interface that supports any SQL front end or visualization tool.
StarRocks’ new cloud offering leverages the cloud’s built-in elasticity and separation of storage from compute, thus reducing admin responsibilities while delivering massive scale and performance.
