OVHcloud offers public cloud in its own data centers around the world as well as hosted private cloud and bare metal cloud services.
The company assembles its own servers from scratch and runs its own fiber network to keep costs down and is thus able to offer favorable pricing as compared to the hyperscale clouds.
It recently launched its layer 2 private networking service, enabling customers to create cross-region and cross-cloud virtual private clouds (VPCs), as well as supporting workload migrations that don’t require the assignment of new IP addresses.
