Seqera Labs helps companies build and manage complex, data intensive pipelines consisting of many thousands of tasks on multiple parallel workflows.
Seqera primarily serves the biopharma industry, where drug development is both data-intensive and requires many data processing steps along complex batch workflows. However, the company is also finding traction for video rendering, financial services, oil and gas, and machine learning data preparation use cases.
Seqera favors cloud-based data pipelines, leveraging the batch processing services from each of the three main cloud providers. The tool runs each task in a Docker container.
The orchestration tool is open source. The company’s paid product adds management and diagnostic capabilities for complex data pipelines, helping organizations optimize resource utilization while avoiding failure.
