CloudSaver offers Cloud Cost Management (CCM) as a combination product and managed service offering. Its offering centers on metadata tags: the labels that people put on cloud resources to indicate how to categorize and budget for those resources.
Such tagging is an important component of FinOps, as it enables executives to manage cloud costs by application, department, or other designated categorization.
Because organizations typically assign such tags manually, they often apply them inconsistently, with missing tags or variant spellings limiting the ability for them to accurately track usage of the resources.
CloudSaver enables organizations to view all tags, standardize tag policies, clean up inconsistent or erroneous tags, and manage tags moving forward.
CloudSaver offers hands-on assistance via managed services, either to train or complement its customers’ own efforts.
