Kriptos scans documents across all Windows PCs, servers, and cloud file stores (including Microsoft 365), using AI to identify sensitive information in files.
The company classifies personally identifiable information (PII), credit card numbers, and sensitive information of other types as per its customers’ policies across many document types.
Kriptos then places a small symbol on each document icon indicating whether the file is suitable for public or internal use, or if it contains restricted or confidential information.
Kriptos integrates with many popular Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products, rather than providing DLP capabilities on its own.
