Masthead Data analyzes cloud based data warehouse metadata and log files to identity data quality issues in BI systems, rather than using SQL queries.
Getting the data right is one of the biggest challenges in operating data warehouse systems for business intelligence (BI) applications. Incorrect data can easily produce misleading results, and create uncertainties for decision makers.
A number of industry tools address this problem and identify data quality issues that need to be fixed to improve data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for BI systems.
Unlike most other such tools, however, Masthead Data does not use SQL queries to access the data in the warehouse to create quality analytics.
This eliminates the risk of access to sensitive data, either in the warehouse itself or extracted into the logs (logged data is filtered).
Masthead Data also helps control cloud costs. Because data isn’t accessed for the analytics, you don’t pay for that access.
Masthead Data currently integrates with GCP BigQuery and Looker. Integration with RedShift and Snowflake will be available soon.
