Uno: Three Types of AI for Cyber Security Analysis and Reporting

An Intellyx Brain Candy Brief

Uno employs three types of AI to simplify cybersecurity analysis, generate reports and conversations, and reduce time to diagnose and repair incidents.

The three types of AI are: LLMs for generating reports and interactive questions, a temporal knowledge graph for infrastructure modeling, and a causal discovery engine to help identify the root cause of an incident.

The Uno toolset helps provide a unified view across multiple cyber security tools, monitoring, and observability data. The AI capabilities automate complex story stitching and decision making for security analysts and architects involved in attack surface management and incident response.

Their goal is to speed up diagnostic repair for incidents, help close the cybersecurity skills gap, and provide the ability to look back in time to simulate the future.

Root cause analysis typically involves searching through a lot of extraneous information to find the most pertinent and useful data. Uno’s AI provides causal discovery to assist and reduce mean time to repair.

Uno’s focus is on the analysis side for incident response, but they can also automate some security analyst functions and augment the skills and resources of security analysts generally.
